How we support parents
Being a proactive parent means that you think about what you want for your children in the long run and take every parenting moment that comes, to help them towards that goal. As part of your child’s development, he/she will form interpersonal relationships with family, peers, the community and society as a whole and with all these influences, safeguarding your child from harm and abuse may appear to be a daunting task. Pro-active parents “respond” instead of “react” to the child and his/her behavior. We pride ourselves on a dynamic and constantly adapted service for parents to warn of changing threats to children and provide parents with the tools to ensure their child’s right to protection is being fulfilled.
- Parents can also register as a user on our schools anonymous reporting app and report anonymously on anything that is challenging them at their child’s school.
- The reports will be managed within the school by appointed Ambassadors and Investigators.
- The school can appoint as many ambassadors and investigators as they deem fit.
- Parents who have registered on the app will receive push notifications from the school keeping them informed about anything from general reminders to announcements like “No Blazers Today”, “Sport cancelled because of rain”, “Hamburger special at the tuck shop next week” etc.
