The Tour DSO Course equips experienced Designated Safeguarding Officers with the specialist skills, tools, and resources needed to lead safeguarding on tours—where risks increase, routines change, and supervision can easily slip. Across four practical modules (Understanding the Role, Pre-Tour Preparation, On-Tour Safeguarding, and Post-Tour Reflection & Reporting), learners are trained to anticipate high-risk moments (like downtime), set clear safeguarding expectations, manage real-time concerns, and ensure confident reporting and accountability throughout the tour.
